Filmmaker Alain Fleischer and poet Yves Bonnefoy join forces in celebration of the Louvre palace and museum. A very mobile camera explores the staircase of the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo, the medieval fortress and the Mona Lisa, the Grande Galerie and the Egyptian antiquities, the Khorsabad bulls and Poussin's Four Seasons… A cinematographic "duet" in which the filmmaker's vision is complemented by the poet's words.
