A short, silent, black and white film by Franco-Israeli artist Joseph Dadoune in which the actress Ronit Elkabetz portrays an allegory of Jerusalem as she explores three of the Louvre's galleries (the Department of Near Eastern Antiquities, and the galleries of French and Italian paintings). Dressed in a gorgeous costume designed by Christian Lacroix, she wanders the museum in search of Biblical objects representing the lost civilizations to which Jerusalem was once home. This film is part of an eponymous multimedia project (short and full-length films, photos, and installation: Zion 2002–2007), also based in Jerusalem and the Negev.
