Regards sur le Louvre – Vol. 8 : "Deux sculpteurs français (Puget, Pajou)" (ADAV)
The painter, sculptor, architect, and town planner Pierre Puget was born in Marseille in 1620. Although he worked for Louis XIV, he managed to preserve his independence from the Court and its intrigues... at the cost of a struggle which this film traces through his letters, the people he met or painted, and of course his works, which are showcased at the Louvre in the sculpture courtyard that bears his name.
