Regards sur le Louvre – Vol. 8 : "Deux sculpteurs français (Puget, Pajou)" (ADAV)
Augustin Pajou was one of the best French sculptors of the second half of the 18th century, a subtle portraitist who created both small and monumental sculptures. This film, which explores his work, his many clients, and his relationship with architecture, is a skillful evocation of the artist's personality that also provides an overview of this half-century. The film was made on the occasion of the exhibition "Pajou: Sculptor to the King, 1730–1809" (Musée du Louvre, October 20, 1997–January 19, 1998), curated by Guilhem Scherf.
