Leonardo, the great Renaissance master, the artist of science and technology who penetrated the phenomena of the universe, dreamed of "representing the invisible." This film takes us through Quattrocento Italy and the France of François I on an exploration of the many autograph manuscripts and documents left by the artist. A documentary based on Alessandro Vezzosi's book Léonard de Vinci, art et science de l'univers (Gallimard "Découvertes," 1996).
